Case 01
Payment approvals, replacing a spreadsheet and WhatsApp
A finance team was approving payments over WhatsApp and paper. Requests got lost, nobody could say who had authorised what, and bank details were sitting in chat histories.
I built a submission and approval system to replace it.
- Anyone can submit a request through a public link, with no account needed
- Receipts, e-signature, and an automatic reference number
- The whole team is notified in real time and can approve from their phone without opening the app
- Every action is logged, so there is a complete record of who decided what and when
- Bank details are visible only to authorised roles and delete themselves 90 days after payment
- Role-based access, with guardrails like preventing removal of the last admin
Built with React, TypeScript, Supabase and Postgres. Security enforced at the database level rather than trusted to the browser.

Template building, from 16 hours to 30 minutes
A marketing automation company was hand-building branded email and landing page templates for every new client. Sixteen hours of manual work per onboarding.
I built an internal tool that generates them automatically from the client's brand assets. Build time dropped to thirty minutes.
React, Node.js, Express, REST APIs, tested with Jest.
